Working together to accomplish your goals...

Client Acceptance Policy

I want clients to be successful. My only measure of accountability is my funding success rate. Writing grant proposals that are not competitive and don’t get funded is a poor use of my time and a client’s money.

I only work with clients whose projects are well developed, with committed leadership, have strong institutional support, and meet the criteria of the funding agency’s request for proposals/applications. I can advise clients on how to develop competitive projects, but I can’t do it for them, nor should any outside consultant.

The number one reason why grant proposals are rejected is due to the proposal not meeting the funder’s requirements. Trying to make a project fit a funding source is like trying to squeeze a size nine foot into a size seven shoe – a painful and ineffective approach for walking.

If you agree with these comments and underlying principles, I will be happy to discuss your project or other grant writing needs.
